With the tumult, caused by the ferocity of the murders, the celebrity of the players, and the
gross ineptitude of the investigation, the trial of Lizzie Borden rocked Massachusetts with
scandal. Lost within the rumor and gossip, however, was one important historical tidbit that
few remember: Lizzie was found NOT GUILTY. Given that fact one must ponder this question: If
Lizzie was not guilty, who did murder Andrew and Abby Borden?
